The Lecture Phase

The classroom is the bush, the test is your drive to pursue God, and the goal is to take that anywhere

The 4WD Adventure Discipleship Training School starts strong with 12 weeks of lectures. Through weekly topics taught by different speakers, you will gain a greater understanding of God and His love and purposes.
The discipleship process isn’t just knowledge, though; you will get to apply what God is communicating to experience true transformation. Discipleship doesn't end with lectures, as you will learn how to share your personal experiences with God in the nations. You will do all of this while living in a family-oriented community, studying in the classroom, roughing it in the bush, and meeting any challenges that may come your way.
In a "live - learn" teaching environment you will develop personal character and cultivate a relationship with God. We don't just fill your head with knowledge but give you an opportunity to express your unique skills and passions.
Learn to follow God's love and take it off the beaten path.

What you'll experience during the lecture phase.

For three weeks you will leave the classroom and have lectures on the beach. Explore God's beautiful creation through conquering terrain in a 4x4, snorkeling, or falling asleep under the stars and waking up to the sunrise. It's an epic opportunity to learn in a community while surrounded by nature.

Evangelism: Take God off the Beaten Path

Learning how great God is and His deep love for us can't be separated from sharing it with people. The more we talk to people about God, the more we understand His love for them. Stepping out for God is essential to life and an exciting part of seeing Him work.

One-on-One Discipleship

With so many topics and so much information given in lectures, it's helpful to have someone to process with. You will get a staff 'mentor' to walk with you and give guidance and input. Each week you will get a chance to sit down and talk with your staff mentor; ask questions, and think about how to live it out.

Outreach Phase

People know because we go

Experience is the best teacher. After 12 weeks of learning about God and getting to know Him more, we put it into practice by heading into different countries to share the gospel. Put what you have learned into action and be God's hands to help change lives!

The gospel was never meant to stay safely within four walls - the good news is meant for every person and every part of society! It transforms lives, communities, and nations and we're all called to be a part of sharing it.

Whether we are in a country without our 4WDs or in Australia with them, we will share God's heart for the nations by taking His message of love to the hard-to-reach places in the world.

Mission experiences during the outreach phase.

What has God done in your life? You get to share this with people from anywhere! From the remote communities of Western Australia to the bustling city streets of India (and anywhere in between), people need the hope of Christ.

Mercy Ministry

Be the hands and feet of God, meaning, be used to do whatever is needed wherever it is needed. You see a problem, we will do what we can to fix it.

Reach Australia's Outback

Australia is wild and wonderful and 4WDs are the perfect means to go to places that hold so much beauty in landscape and people. We will go to Indigenous communities accessed only by 4WDs and share what God has done in our lives and the love He has for them.
