Winter Camp takes place every year in the first week of the July school holidays for those in year 7 - 12 in high school. The purpose of Winter Camp is that young people would know God personally and experience the joy and fun of doing life with Him and others.
Winter Camp is known for its epic team building games, fun community atmosphere, powerful worship and teaching times, and GOOOD food. Some highlights of Winter Camp are the mud pit, camp fires, and spontaneous dance parties! This week will be a great opportunity to get away, make new friends, set aside time to grow and become more like Jesus - together!
This year, we have the privilege of having Zack Muetterties from Wollongong as our guest speaker. Zack works as a full-time missionary with YWAM and has spent the last 16 years doing peacemaking work in conflict areas around the world, bringing together people from different ethnicities, religions, and ideologies, to help bring healing and reconciliation to the wounds of war and hatred. The centre of his work is on starting movements of reconciliation in local communities, especially led by youth!
Buckle up for a powerful week of teaching and encouraging from Zack....it’s going to be awesome
