The Compassion DTS Urban Focus starts out with 12 weeks of pursuing God together, tackling topics like hearing God’s voice, prayer, God’s fatherheart and taking the gospel public. Our integrated approach to discipleship means learning and growth happen in the classroom, in the streets, in small group discussion, through hands-on serving and more. And it’s all in the context of our international missions community, people from all over the world, committed to God and His purposes. 

With DTS, following Jesus is never just theory. God wants to bring His hope and healing to a hurting world - and He wants to do it through us! With this as our heartbeat, in the second half of the Compassion DTS Urban Focus we take what we’ve learned to serve those in need. We go to slums, informal settlements, to the homeless, the marginalised. Urban poverty often means lack of access to shelter, clean water, sanitation, education and nutrition. Partnering with local efforts, we’ll look for opportunities to meet needs and share hope. 

We’ll wrap up with a week back in Perth, reflecting on all God has done and preparing for what He has next.
