Mission Builders calls volunteers to be part of God's commission to make him known in the nations by building and maintaining the support structure of YWAM Perth. Come and be part of our community as we build towards the Kingdom of God.

Mission Builders - In praying God gave us Exodus 17:11-13.

"So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sun set. So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword."

One of our foundational values is a commitment to work in teams, bringing our talents together to support one another, completing the tasks God has for us.

In this passage of Scriptures, Aaron and Hur supported Moses' hands as a symbol of worship to the Lord. The Lord then brings victory to Joshua and the Israelites over their enemies, teaching us an important lesson about the Kingdom of God. Each of them, Joshua, the Israelites, Moses, Aaron and Hur had a part to play in battle, while they looked to the Lord for victory.

By the same principle, as Mission Builders, we are looking for the Aarons' and Hurs' to support the leaders and the front liners to do and be all that God has called them to, taking hold of God's heart for the nations!

Do you have to be a skilled builder to be part of Mission Builders?

No, we welcome anyone with a willing heart to serve God, people who are not afraid of getting their hands dirty and roughing it out!

As a Mission Builder, you would live and work with our community, join with our Friday Night public Meetings and visit some of our local tourist attractions with their unique Aussie flora and fauna. We will also have weekly teaching, devotion and prayer times where you will be challenged in your growth with the Lord. All the while, you will use your God given gifts and talents to build or maintain our infrastructure.

You can come for anytime, from three weeks to three months, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU!
