ABOUT

Come and be a part of the Sports DTS this July. We're taking applications for this school and would love to have you. Are you an athlete or do you love to play sports? Is there a sport that you are just crazy about or do you love all sports? Want to do a DTS and have a blast playing sports at the same time? If so then it would be great to have you for this school. We now run the Sports DTS twice a year, with one starting in July and one in October. Just click on NEWS to see the latest of what's happening with the school.

The Sports DTS July is all about discipling, training and equipping people into missions, using sports as a key gateway. This school is like every other DTS in that it’s split up into 3 months lecture phase and 3 months outreach.

Lecture phase is all about knowing God, growing in intimacy with him, and discovering our destiny in the nations. Its 12 weeks of lectures on topics such as the Nature and Character of God, Repentance and Forgiveness, Lordship, Relationships, Hearing the Voice of God, and more. Along with that we will of course be playing lots of sports –from soccer to basketball, rugby, Aussie rules Football, volleyball and lots more. You’ll have a chance to practice and use your skills, as well as learn new ones.

Then on outreach phase we will head out into the nations to make Jesus known. Sports is an amazing way to connect with people internationally -especially young people. We’ll do a variety of different things like evangelism, church ministry, as well as playing sports, running sports tournaments, and more. It’s a great time of using your talents and abilities to bring glory to God in the nations.
