ABOUT

Take it deeper. Build on the skills and knowledge learned in the Community Counselling School (or the Introduction to Biblical Counseling).

Get out there - restore hearts - restore communities.

Our purpose: loving the rejected, the shunned, the shamed; displaying the mercy of God where the need is greatest; meeting people’s suffering with the loving-kindness and compassion of Christ; restoring personal wholeness in people and creating a foundation for life that reflects the image of God with the additional result that they can be a transforming influence in their relationships and community; challenging community thinking and systems to address the causes of broken-ness.

Is 61:4 - Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise up the former devastations, and they will repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.

Where and how: out in the community itself; through whatever means provides a bridge for people to encounter God; through the application of Biblical truths; through counseling; and through relationship.

Our aim is to equip you to be able to help people in both formal and informal settings.

Note: Previously we have offered ACCS 1 and ACCS 2 as a joint twelve month course. This current school is ACCS 1 only and runs for twenty-four weeks. We hope to offer ACCS 2 again in the near future.

The school runs from APRIL to SEPTEMBER.
