Administration is vital in every ministry and usually involves a wide range of tasks. People often find themselves 'thrown into the deep end' without guidance or training on what to do or how to do it. These lectures start right at the beginning, setting the biblical basis for administration as well as exploring the heart and character requirements of an administrator. After this foundation is established we move into different skills sets that are needed to equip an administrator for a range of areas they may be responsible for.
Biblical basis & Admin 101 seminar (6 weeks) - running 6th October to 15th November 2019
Finance, IT & media seminar (6 weeks) - running in 2020
Introductory/overview seminar (2 weeks) - running in 2020
Delve into the Bible and discover what it has to say about administration. Develop profiles on biblical administrators and learn from their lives. Cultivate your heart as a Christian administrator and understand how each of your areas of responsibility can be done in a God-honouring way.
Be equipped with industry skills to help you administer with excellence. This 2019 seminar will focus on foundational skills such as managing personal workflow, working in teams, communicating using digital platforms, organising and documenting meetings, and keeping records. The 2020 seminar will focus on finance, IT and media.
With administrators and leaders from different backgrounds gathered together in the one place we have the opportunity to share stories, ideas, tips and tricks, and other things we have learned along the way.
At the completion of the six week seminar is an optional 2 week internship. This affords you the opportunity to put into practice what you have learned with the ongoing support and mentoring of experienced leaders.
You will have the option of returning to your existing administrative role (if you have one), or we can develop a program with you that incorporates a variety of opportunities within Australia and/or in the nations.
