The main focus on the All Nations Discipleship Training School is to know God and make Him known. Through 12 weeks of lectures in Perth and a 12 week outreach, you will get lots of opportunity to grow in your relationship with God as well as in your passion and ability to share Him with others.
On top of this, the school has a focus on celebrating the flavour and diversity of the nations through sharing food, hospitality and cultural expressions. Our goal is to have a lot of fun while getting more of God's heart for each other and for the nations.
The school will be bilingual and teaching will be offered in both English and Korean.
이 학교는 영어와 한국어로 진행되는 이중언어 학교입니다.
The core focus on the lecture phase is getting to know God better. There will be ongoing opportunities through lectures, regular times of worship and intercession, small groups and one-on-one discipleship to encounter God and grow as we respond to Him.
As you grow in relationship with God, you will also be empowered to share His love with others. We learn about evangelism, missions and extending God's hope to the poor and needy. As we learn about all this in the classroom, we will also have many opportunities to put outreach into practice in the city of Perth.
God loves the nations and He loves to see the nations come together. We will celebrate His diversity through food, fun, and sharing our cultures and experiences. We believe that it is God’s heart to see every nation, every tribe and every language group come to know Him, experience His love, and reflect who He is.
After the lecture phase, you will head off on a 12-week outreach, putting into practice what you have learned during the first half of the school. Together with your DTS outreach team, you will have many opportunities to reach out to people on the street, in churches and in different local communities. While doing this, you will also continue to grow in your personal relationship with God, as well as in your capacity to serve in a team context.
Whether it is in a planned evangelism time, through any other work we do or simply just through the day-to-day relationships that are built on outreach, we always look for opportunities to tell people about Jesus. Throughout the school, you will get lots of training and practice on how to effectively share with love.
We want to bring the love of God to the poor and needy wherever and however we can. This might mean working in a slum, meeting the needs in a community by doing hands-on work or doing something as simple as buying a meal for a hungry person living on the streets in the city.
On outreach you will have lots of opportunity to train other people in what you have learned yourself on lecture phase. We do training and teaching in churches, schools, youth groups, local communities and wherever else the opportunity would arise.
