Story written by a former student, Connie –
During outreach in Albany we were able to go into a school called Alter-1, the school was for young people who were unable to be in mainstream high schools because of learning difficulties, social problems etc. We went in and talked about relationships with peers, we were able to have small groups with them and talk to them on a more personal level. After the session about relationships we were invited to stay and help them with their school work and play basket ball with them during their break. It was lots of fun and built some good friendships.
