Camilla’s First Week in IPHC
Written by Camilla, who did the IPHC:
I had been preparing to come to the Introduction to Primary Health Care School for a while, and it was so good to finally be starting.
The whole week showed me the value of inclusivity and how I was valued as an individual by God. We began the week, with the whole base going to a park by the river for the afternoon. It was so nice to get to know people and see some of Perth. We played some games and ate dinner there. I think it was one of my favorite things this first week because I felt so welcome. I also found that to be the case with my IPHC classmates, having hangouts and being included in everything we did.
It’s so good to see how much God values not only me but the poor and needy.
In class we were exploring God’s character and I have found that to be helpful as I continue to get to know God more. We looked into what He says about the poor and needy. It’s so good to see how much God values not only me but the poor and needy. I feel so excited to continue to learn and see what can be done to help others.
