God’s heart is for families in missions to thrive, not just survive, in answering His call.

When God created the world, one of the first things He created was family! Family was His good idea, and He knows the best way to make it work. As families who know and love God, we have the unique opportunity to represent the hope of Jesus to a world that needs healing. Strong marriages, healthy parent-child relationships and Jesus-centred families are powerful testimonies to those we are called to reach.

The Family In Missions School is created for couples, families and single parents in order to equip and strengthen them to thrive in a missions context, to raise up the next Godly generation, and together impact communities—as a whole family. It is a dynamic training opportunity both for families serving in missions already, and those who want to be equipped to do so.

This school is uniquely designed to give you and your family the opportunity to engage with powerful and relevant weekly teaching while actively serving within our missions community. You will receive practical discipleship and support around many areas impacting a family in missions, including: family relationships and parenting, overcoming cross-cultural challenges, holistic strategies for sustainable health and wellness and effectively engaging in ministry as a family. This learning and exploration process will include Bible study, projects, whole family ministry outings and creative workshops.

The aim is that families would gain tools and confidence to step into all God is calling them to in missions!

Dates: July 2, 2023 - June 22, 2024

Course Fees: Tuition Fee AUD $1,690 + Non-Tuition Fee AUD$200, includes AUD $30 Registration Fee + $100 Deposit; Please contact us for further costs related to serving for a year as a family or couple at YWAM Perth.
