To know God and make Him known is the core value of our DTS. Be ruined for the ordinary! This is the gateway course to the international family of YWAM, come join us. Be challenged in your relationship with God, find your purpose in the Great Commission, and embark with us on the adventure!

ABOUT

The Young Peoples DTS trains, disciples, equips and mobilises young people into missions. We are committed to facilitate the fulfilment of your vision, dreams and ambitions in the Lord and in the nations of the earth. The school is aimed specifically at 17-25 year olds and runs every year in January.

Three months of lecture phase which is all about personal application of truth and response to the character of God. Topics include Character of God, Forgiveness and Repentance, Evangelism, Lordship, Relationships and the Father Heart of God. Every week there is a different speaker sharing on a topic through lectures and application times. Other activities include worship, intercession, sports, work duties and lots of adventures in the city. Then it is three months of outreach where we head out into the nations to make Jesus known through evangelism, discipleship, church ministry, worship, intercession, community development, music and drama/dance...

Why young people? It only takes a moment of exposure to this generation to realise both the incredible potential and vulnerabilities that exist in youth all over the world. YWAM was founded on the belief that God can use young people to change the world. That is still our DNA - seeing young lives transformed that in turn go out into the nations. Thats what the YP is all about - young crew getting together from all over the world, encountering God and going out to our generation all over the map. Get a vision for this generation - get trained, direction, equipped to reach out all over the nations. The YP is active, we make the most of every opportunity and every minute in the day.... focused, dynamic, transformational. Bring the creativity and passion and initiative that God has placed in you and make a difference!

DTS is the entry point into YWAM. It is a prerequisite for any staff position or further traning within YWAM international.
