What does it take to battle?

"Youth Ministry Training.....what for?"

A lot of people wonder why spending 9 months dedicated to learn how to work with young people because the idea is that really, any one can do youth ministry, you just gotta wing it.

And some of it I guess is true because the beauty of God is that he uses you just as you are and gives you ideas on the spot. But as possible it is to work with youth without training reality is that it would be like Po in Kung Fu Panda when he goes at his very first training: knowing the principle of something but not being able to give it your best.

What would you do if you're faced with a girl sharing about abuse? What would you if you had a 16 year old boy breaking down in tears in front of you? How do you put your dreams and visions into place? Do you know what God's heart is for this generation, nation, individuals? Do you understand what being apostolic means and it's importance? Do you know how much it matters to line up what you say and the life that you live and how to do that?

Those are some of the things that you will learn in the YMT and those are tools and principles that will serve you for the rest of your life no matter what you do in 10 years life.
