WHO'S DOING WHAT

Exclusive release of the YMT 2013's speakers and their topics!

The next YMT is right around the corner. I still remember starting 2012 with expectation for what God had for the year and full of dream and vision to see this course be all that it can be.
I'm still full of passion and ideas but definitely getting short on time - but rather than being a stressing dead line, the begining of the school is something I am really looking forward to. And part of that is because this year's lecture phase is going to be packed with incredible speakers from all around the globe.

The list includes people from Australia, America, Malaysia, Nigeria, Netherlands and the UK.
Adding to that a list of students from Mexico, to New Zealand you get a school full of flavour and personality.

But maybe you're the kind of person that likes to know what they're getting them selves into, I know I am, so let me tell you a bit more about some of the people you will be hearing from while doing the YMT -

-- Joe Moreno --
Joe hails form the state of Texas and has been with YWAM Perth since 2004 where he has met his wife of 5 years. They are now about to phase out of our base with their 2 children to move to England and reach out to the medical world. But before that Joe was leading the YMT as well as Newxwave, our youth ministry here on base. If Joe hasn't taught me all I know it definitely comes close. He is an incredibly committed man with vision that extends for years. He is not afraid to take risks where others would hold back and has a great gift in making everyone feel included and free to be themselves.
Joe wil be speaking on Skills and Tools for youth ministry and leadership. He was just telling me yesterday about how a bunch of things he's been looking into current events and trends for his teaching. So you can be assured that everything he says won't only be backed up by years of experience but also by thorough research and understanding of this generation!

-- Sarah McCutcheon --
Sarah is an original Aussie from New Castle and has got to be one of my favourite persons to be around. It doesn't take 5 minutes with her to see one thing clearly: this woman loves God and transpires with his presence, joy and love. Out of intimacy with her Father, Sarah has great passion for the young people of Australia. She oversees Youth Street in YWAM Newcastle, a ministry reaching out to the youth of the community giving them a safe environment to explore their passions and find hope in God. Sarah has been working with Youth Street for years and has countless stories to tell.
This gives her great authority as she speaks on Discipling Young People, a week in which we will look at how we influence our youth through our lifestyle, choices, conversations, etc.... She will be speaking out of experience, mistakes, victories and will give many opportunities for conversation and working things out together. The is the kind of girl Sarah is - full of input but always ready to hear what others have to say so you can move forward together.
