Twenty-five years ago a small group travelled across Australia to pioneer Youth With A Mission, Perth. We had nothing, except a word that God wanted to establish an evangelism and training centre that would impact Australia and the nations beyond!
God had placed a vision in our heart of a modern-day Antioch with young people coming and going to the nations filled with determined focus to know God and make Him Known. Perth is a strategic city, sitting on the edge of the Indian Ocean, looking over 3½ billion people who represent the poorest of the poor, the major religious blocks and the next generation of leadership on the planet. We started with nine and have grown to over 300 staff involved in thirty plus ministry expressions; with nearly 1,000 students streaming in each year to train in over thirty courses and seminars. We haven’t arrived yet! There is so much more to be done. For twenty-five years we have been waiting for God to lead us to a ‘permanent’ home for Youth With A Mission, Perth. In 2010, our 25th anniversary, God has given us the FRONT DOOR but we need your help to build the house.As you read on you will see what God has already done – it’s a miracle – but it’s just the beginning of fulfilling the vision.
