The Bible is our primary source to learn about God. The Inductive Bible Study approach to the Bible is the most effective way to grasp what the Bible is really saying.
Inductive study is an investigative approach that uses four basic steps: Observation, Interpretation, Application, and Proclamation on the Bible Core Course. You are equipped with tools so that you can study the text to develop and deepen your relationship with God.
This course is for people of any profession, skill level, and hunger. You will reap the rewards of these classes for the rest of your life.
Read the Bible for transformation not just information. The intent of the Bible is to tell the story of God and his supernatural self-disclosing acts in history. According to a Gallup poll, 41% of Christians don't read their Bibles at all. How are we to know God? Have you read the whole Bible? Is what it says important for today? Can we even understand this book?
We intend to equip fully-devoted disciples with tools to help fulfill the Great Commission. Learn how to teach, preach lead small group Bible studies and be mobilised into areas where Bible training is needed.
Do you encounter God when you read the Bible? In the BCC, you will deepen your relationship with God through worship that invites you into His presence, prayer where you hear God's voice and teaching that brings revelation from the Holy Spirit. Know the deep love of God revealed in His Word.
Outreach is a key part of the Bible Core Course as it takes the skills taught in the classroom and applies them in a cross-cultural situation.
Practice teaching, preaching, and ministering to people in their situations. Share the Gospel using your understanding and revelation from the lecture phase to impart the Word of God.
An additional benefit of outreach is coming alongside the local church, where we are able to strengthen and empower the international Body of Christ.
“Without the Bible, world evangelization would not only be impossible, but actually inconceivable,” declared John R.W. Stott. A significant number of people worldwide have at least a portion of Scripture available in their mother tongue. However, these texts are not widely distributed. We desire to serve local churches to and assist with the where and the how of God's leading.
Get out of the classroom and develop your newly learned skills in real life situations. Field-based learning solidifies confidence and trust in God as you step out and see Him move through you in the nations. People's lives are transformed as you equip them with skills to understand the Word of God for themselves.
People are exposed to the Gospel in many different ways. We desire to bless and serve people where they are at in their faith. Also, it is necessary to practice personally and regularly articulate the message of the gospel with people, calling them to discipleship. Grow in your ability to share and disciple individuals.
