A TIME FOR EVERYTHING

Jason Webb and Luke Jones – the new Sports DTS school leaders.

Since the start of the Sports DTS in 2006, I have been leading the school. Now it is time to be passed on and I am excited to introduce to you the new school leaders. From New Zealand, we have Jason and Luke. Yes, they are both Kiwis, and are a dynamic duo of a team.

Luke is originally from Wales, but grew up in New Zealand. He did the July Sports DTS in 200,7 and has been on staff here in Perth since. I was actually Luke's work duty leader. We often have laughs about his work duty on property and how one tool he was using backfired towards him, shooting out a flame. Don't worry, he was okay. He has been part of our property ministry since, as well as having staffed July Sports DTS in 2009 and 2010. He is very loyal, loves a bit of good competition, knows the Lord and His ways, and, when you come to the base, you will see his incredible handiwork of our dining room wall.

Jason from Christchurch, New Zealand, and did his DTS in July 2010. He joined staff here in Perth April 2011. He has been part of the Sports Ministry on base, and staffed the October Sports DTS this past 2011/2012 school. He loves tennis, cricket, and rugby, but especially tennis. He also loves motocross, riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, and most things active. He is incredibly servant-hearted, humble, and very warm and relational as you will well see on base.

You will have a blast with these two guys as together you to play sports, explore Perth, experience new things, do ministry and – most importantly and impacting – get in the presence of God.
