THE POWER OF PRAYER

2007 School of Worship
I was so grateful to be able to attend the last School of Worship.
For me it was so good having the opportunity to spend 6 months of my life solely dedicated to growing in my relationship to God. As I gave my time, money and energy, God met me in such an up close and personal way. The first week of the school I came into such a powerful understanding of how important prayer is and the role prayer plays as we relate to God. The speaker for the week had the class break up into pairs and meditate on a scripture. While I was reading the scripture I started to get the revelation of how powerful prayer is. After a time of waiting on the Lord and discussing in our pairs what God was saying, the speaker gave students the opportunity to share what God had spoken in front of the class. I was able to get up and share what God had revealed to me. To this day I have never forgotten that class session and my prayer life has been changed ever since. Its stuff like this that made me want to do the School of Worship in the first place, that God never disappoints His children when they are willing to follow after Him.
