ONWARD TO NEPAL!

Simple Health Care Seminar running 17th Sept. - 10th Oct.

In September, the Simple Health Care team will be going to the beautiful country of Nepal!

Joel, who has been working with Simple Health Care for the past two years, will be taking a team of trainers to run a three-week seminar, starting 17th September 2012. We are excited to go to the village of Chitwan and teach these beautiful people about how to wash their hands, treat a simple cough or cold, and about anaemia—what it looks like and how to avoid it. Sometimes these things seem like common-sense to us in the West, but in rural areas like Chitwan, this little bit of knowledge saves lives!

The vision for Nepal doesn’t end after this seminar, however. Joel and his wife, Louise, and their new son, Gilam, have a heart to see this nation transformed through health care and community development. They will return to Nepal in the middle of next year to begin a work there. We are excited to see what God has in store for us there!
