SFM 2007

The SFM 2007 has come to a close. It was a great six months, filled with lectures, projects, traveling, and God. The ten students did wonderfully, having been a part of 4 significant videos that were shot in Turkey. All of the videos were made with the Persian people in mind. One was a mobilization video, in english, telling others what God is doing amongst the Persian people. The other three are in Farsi, and they are an evangelistic movie, an evangelistic music video, and a contextual gathering (church planting training). All three will eventually be sent back to the locals to mass produce and get out among the people so that they can hear about Jesus (some for the first time)!

After the month spent in Turkey, the school flew back to Perth and worked on the post-production of the vidoes. Some students learned how to use Final Cut Pro, others learned After Effects. A few got to dabble in different areas. The last two months of the school were not just about learning how to use different programs, but it was also a time that God spoke and confirmed future callings or plans for different people. Team times were filled with God's presence as he spoke things to different people. It was an awesome end to an incredible school.

Not only was this a great six months for the students to get trained and refine their skills, but it was also a time that God moved and was able to speak and grow everyone. Each student moved on to their next adventure with new skills, and a deeper relationship with God.
