Testifying about Nexwave's Youth Camps!

WINTER CAMP has been a great place to build relationships and also to build my strength in God. My first Winter Camp was amazing! It was like a whole new world had been opened up to me. It was not just in the sense of making some great mates, but also in the sense that, it was the place where no matter how my year was going or how my journey with God was going, I could just recuperate and get my life with God straight. Winter Camp is a one in a life time opportunity and the memories you make will be un-forgettable. Don't miss out!

I Went To WINTER CAMP hardly knowing anything about God, I was just curious and heard I could learn HEAPS about Him there. Once I got there, Wow-oh-wow! The atmosphere of the camp was so welcoming and cheerful! Throughout the week I learned so much about God, but the main thing that caught my attention is that He'll love you and forgive you no matter what! I found that so heart warming! On the last night, when we had our own version of a Tabernacle, I really felt the presence of God! No joke! It felt amazing! With the help of the Winter Camp staff members that night I gave my heart to God. Something I thought I'd never do. And ever since then I've been growing in faith and fellowship with Jesus! I thank YWAM for holding Winter Camp; for showing me how amazing Jesus is and His followers!!!

Well camp was really good and God showed me a lot of stuff but one main thing was that I don't need to worry about my looks so much, and it was like God just wanted to show me that on camp. Like on the last night I was praying with one of my leaders, and she just related to me so well and it was good to hear from someone that God thinks we are beautiful no matter what!

SUMMER OF SERVICE (SOS) was swell.
Training days were great, learned a lot about the Father Heart of God and how that applies to my life. I heard some amazing teachings from a couple of amazing people.
I went to Bali with a team of 11 kids, all around my age(16) and 3 CRAZY leaders. We stayed at the YWAM Bali base in Jimbaran and then in a village called Negara. Getting to know locals was definitely a highlight for me. We had some brilliant time off too, going shopping, to Waterbom Park and to Bali Safari Park were all great! There were some really challenging times while we were there but each time God was with us and taught us once again how to trust Him. My favourite times were hanging out with local kids and our team with YWAMers from the Bali base at the beach, and all the Uno games we played; who knew it could be so entertaining!
