More commonly called Joe than Jose, he is a crazy Mexican who considers it one of his accomplishments in life to be from Texas. To explain a bit about what Joe is like, some of his favorite words to use are "intense" and "powerful"! Married in June 2007, Joe has just had another baby!! Ethan, now 2, was happy to welcome baby Jade in to the family! Joe is a man after God's own heart and has a huge desire to see young people step into God's destinies for their lives. He has a heart to see every young person be transformed for Jesus and become passionate followers of Him.

JENNY WEBB

Jenny can be recognised from miles away due to her uniquely LOUD laugh. She's a girl that enjoys a good laugh and great conversation, she came to Perth in 2002 with another mission organisation and fell in love with the people and the nation of Australia. She came back in October 04 to do her DTS and knew that YWAM, Perth was the place for her. She joined staff with IWT for a year, but now that the tour is over she’s working with Nexwave. “I have a heart to see the young people of this nation know Jesus and the destiny that he has for them, and to see them released into that. “

Miriam is a woman of commitment who is real blessings to us in nexwave. Miriam Has a heart and a passion for young people and has spent the last 2 years refining this passion and learning the skills and tools she needs to better reach out to them.

LUKE BARRETT

Luke's a guy with a plan. The plan usually involves being given cookies and coffee and somehow he always succeeds.

We recruited Luke from the 2010 MediaReach DTS who brings priceless experience and wisdom to Youth ministry. He splits his time between Youth ministry and Media, creating and producing graphics, promos and pretty much anything else that's thrown his way.

SARAH COMBRIDGE

FROM: Busselton Australia

Sarah Jean Combridge is a youthful 19 years old! She’s a local WA girl from Busso. She did the July DTS last year in 2010, and is new on staff.
Sarah loves summer, elephants, most sports, dancing like a crazy person, having fun with friends, and driving her car. Her vision is to see young people grow up knowing that God wants a relationship with them, that God speaks to them, and wants the best for them. Sarah is so much fun, she’s full of joy and energy.

CHRISTOPHER MARES

FROM: Mexico City

Alferdo Cristopher Mares Martínez is 19 years old, he comes all the way from Mexico City, in the D.F to be exact. He is a new recruit fresh out of the YPDTS 2011.
Chris loves to walk, have fun with friends, drink coffee, and dance. Chris’s moto is EAT EAT EAT, PLAY PLAY PLAY. Spend sometime with GOD, GOD, GOD. He wants to impact Australian Youth and show them a different perspective on life, he is excited to use his good, and bad experiences, to help do this.

JOSH HANNA

FROM: Gold Coast, Australia

Josh Hanna is fully Aussie, he is 23 year old from the Gold Coast. He did his DTS in Brisbane in Feb 2010, and for his outreach went to the World Cup in South Africa. Josh likes playing tennis, or any sport you can think of. He loves hanging out with friends, watching movies, and playing video games. Josh’s vision for young people is to see them find out who they are in Christ, as he has fun relating with them. Josh has a great heart and positive attitude.

DAVID BAKER

FROM: Kansas City, USA

David Baker is more commonly refered to as T-Pain. He is 25 years old and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, home of barbeque, and International House of Prayer. David did his DTS in October 2008 here in Perth. He loves basically every sport, parkour, and wrestling . He has a killer arm from playing baseball, which has lead to a fearsome reputation in dodgeball. David has a huge heart for worship and because of that learned to play a few instruments including guitar and piano. He has a huge heart to see people come into the fullness of what God has for them.
