Winter Camp 2012

105 campers, over 20 staff, a human-sized Hungry Hippos game, cheese cake, incredible worship times, and so much more were what made up part of Winter Camp 2012! Once again God showed us that He is faithful and committed to young people. From the first night with Emma and Richard Blake speaking to campers to be engaged in what God had for them, these young people were hungry for His truth and went for it in worship, in the games, and in small groups.

This year's campers were challenged to walk away from sin, hear His voice, and make Him Lord of their lives. Many publicly declared their love for Jesus; standing to their feet before everyone.

Campers got dirty, ate unhealthy food, and got competitive on behalf of their activity teams. There were plenty of late nights, loads of great food, new friends made, and sitting by the fire to stay warm. We even had a kangaroo come for a visit on our last night. Thursday night's application brought breakthrough and many made things right with Him. Campers stepped out and prayed for one another and even encouraged the staff. Winter Camp 2012 will go down in history as being one of the largest camps in a very long time!

We look forward to Winter Camp 2013! Let the count-down begin!
