The Delphine Lemaire Memorial FundIs dedicated to restoring hope to the lives of mothers and children throughout the developing world introducing them to God's love through His practical care. Fund will be allocated to projects and situations such as the following: Curative Care projects such as: Vit A deficiency, de-worming, safe water issues, tetanus immunizations for pregnant women and newborns, HIV/AIDS prevention, distribution of mosquito nets for pregnant women and families Children: Evangelistic materials for children and mothers; Orphanage work (food, supplies, teaching materials) Health Education: Mother and child health seminars; women's seminars; women's literacy - reading supplies; child education Women's centre: antenatal care; labour and delivery; newborn care; postnatal care; newborn supplies and equipment; care for unwed mothers. Injustice issues: Women and children being neglected, this relates to prostitution, poverty, health and any form of abuse. You can be involved in this ministry to mothers and children in one of two ways: 1. Participating in one of the health care and medical programs and ministries running at Youth With A Mission, Perth. All requests for sponsorship will be considered by Youth With A Mission, Perth after the receipt of a completed application for any of the health care training programs run here. All decisions to grant assistance will be made by Youth With A Mission, (Perth) Inc. according to our established criteria. Click here for applications for training programs and sponsorship. 2.
