LOCAL WOMAN GIVES HER LIFE TO JESUS

Today was really awesome. We went to evangelise with another YWAM team and some churches in our district.
We went to a sports field where the ambience was quite difficult; older men were drinking beer and playing cards, and some were using drugs.
We invited people to come to watch our skit, and all the time we did the skit I saw one girl watching from a bench near the soccer field. With one of my team members and a girl from the church I went to talk to her. She was open to a conversation, so we talked a bit about the gospel, about why merely religion is not enough, and how it is great to have an actual relationship with God. We chatted for a long time and we didn’t mind, we took the time, but came back on the importance of having the peace of Jesus in our lives, this relationship with God.
At a certain point I asked if we could pray for something in her life. She said; “I actually need very much prayer.” Then she told us that her brother died three years ago at the age of 21, leaving a son 5 years old and his mother doesn’t really take care of him. So we prayed for them. After this I asked her if she wanted to have a relationship with God and immediately she answered that she wanted this very much! We prayed and she cried as she gave her life to Jesus. After this I hugged her and she said she has never been so happy in her life and that she felt Love!
