JESS ERIKSEN
FROM: United States via the Netherlands
A bit of a nomad, Jess was born in the Netherlands to American parents, was raised in Hawaii, went to uni in Minnesota, moved to Australia and married a Dane in 2007.
After finishing a degree in Media Studies, Jess did her DTS here in Perth and joined staff soon after. She's been a part of staffing DTSes. She currently helps to lead our media ministry.
She is passionate about missions, discipleship, reaching people in creative ways and seeing people know who they are in God. Jess loves all kinds of creativity, from photography to film to sewing. She has a weakness for Scandinavian design, "vocab words" and cafes with character. She loves the challenge of starting something new cause it's a reminder of the need for radical obedience to God rather than self-sufficiency.
Jess and her husband, Anders (who leads the October DTS) have two little Australian-born Danish-American daughters.

LYNNEA BETTGER
FROM: USA
Lynnea's home is in upstate New York, USA, but she has been working with YWAM Perth for about 2 1/2 years now. She did her DTS in spring 2009, her Art Evangelist School in fall 2009, and came on staff fall 2010. She staffed the AES the next two years, and worked with Hospitality, the Cafe, and the Design Team. She has a passion for using creativity to bless others and God's heart. You can sometimes find her painting on big walls at base or busking for change in the city with her red guitar. Her competitive side usually only kicks in when she plays speed scrabble or Texas Hold'em. She has a fetish with coffee mugs....It has to be the right size, weight, and feel. When she needs cheering up, send her some funny cat videos on youtube, or open up photobooth on a macbook. Her favorite colors are found in the sunset. Lynnea values relationship, quality time, and she is always transparent and honest in conversation. She has a deep desire to please the Lord and follow Him with her whole life, and a passion for discovering truth in order to share it with those who are lost without Jesus.
