VISION
Mission Statement
To raise awareness and educate others on various social injustice issues across the globe through creative means in order to shape an effective and lasting result.
"Does anyone care, she asked?"
Injustice is a complex issue and often we feel powerless. We mobilize
artists from all around the world to put a face to injustice,
endeavoring to open people's eyes, provoking and providing avenues for
action. Is God is calling you to this ministry? If so, step out and
brace yourself for the adventure of a lifetime.
Vision is simply the art of listening with our eyes. Our eyes must be open in order for this to occur, and that is our heart – to open the eyes of our communities, work places, schools, universities, streets, state, and country to the unseen victims, and heroes of our time.
ABOUT
To holistically capture and display the horrific and redemptive stories of those who have been or are still being oppressed by an area of injustice across our globe.
We want to share the destructive effect when one individual seeks their own good over another, and also the beauty that can be discovered on the flip side. The impact of love, compassion, and hope displayed through a self sacrificial lifestyle. It is simply the power of the Gospel when we come broken at the feet of Jesus.
Why we GO
Lost in Traffik is about raising awareness, educating, provoking, as well as creating platforms of opportunity for people to get involved through future exhibition, future overseas missions trips, networking, advocating, and so much more. We desire to see people not only recognize that there is a problem, but to constructively and strategically become part of the solution.
Through our national and international trips we have a strong focus on partnering with local ministries. Due to the length of time that we go into these various nations for, we recognize that it is not constructive or honoring to not be partnered with the local community. This is done through coming along side ministries that work with the prevention, aftercare and development (physically, emotionally and spiritually) of the oppressed to give them a hope and a future. Money raised through the initial exhibitions will be given directly back to the partnered ministries.
We exist to inspire young artists to use their God-given gifts in service for others who suffer under the hand of oppression. To lay down their lives in whatever way, shape, or form it may take so that the oppressed may sing their song of redemption again.
Is God calling you to this ministry?
If so, step out and brace yourself for the adventure of a lifetime.
