HEALING OF HEART, AND OF THE BODY.

Women healed and family receives prayer.

One day while we were in the remote village of Kachinga in Western Uganda, Landon and I were going house to house with one of the pastors there offering prayer, encouragement, and fellowship with the local people.
We came to the small mud house of a bean farmer and Landon began talking to him and found out that he was already a believer, but that one of his sons had run away from home a couple years ago. Their family was still hurting and recovering from this loss.

The whole time his wife Betty had been silently standing in the corner politely listening, and all of a sudden I felt to ask her if she needed prayer. I wasn't entirely sure if it was God or not but I decided to give it a shot anyway. She said that her side had been giving her a lot of pain and the doctors could not give her any definite answers about what was wrong. She was open to receiving prayer and so I prayed for healing, not really thinking much would happen. She started to move around and said that there was less pain, so Landon and I prayed for her again and she said the pain was completely gone. The entire family received prayer from us that day, the parents even went out to the fields to bring in their children to be prayed for.
I learned that day to never underestimate God, even if your own faith is lacking, he continually amazes and surprises you even when you don't deserve it.
