Well its amazing to think that 11 weeks ago we converged from around the world to be part of something exciting and dynamic, to go to new depth in our walk with the Lord and to take that to the nations! We have had amazing speakers and been challenged by every one of them and this week was no exception with Dave Stevenson bringing us his wisdom and experience in the area of evangelism.
At times it has felt like a bit of a baptism of fire as relationships we're stretched, mind sets challenged and heart attitudes revealed but we are all the better for it. I think if we could take one characteristic of God and say it characterised the school it was his faithfulness. A major area in which we saw this was outreach finance. To think three weeks ago we needed $50,000 for all of us to go and now we have it, that is crazy! At times it came in miraculously like when Mikey got a phone call and his dad said people from around the world had given him ALL his outreach fee's!! That was $5000 dollars! Literally 30 seconds before he had no idea where it was coming from!
Well with outreach immenent we are super stoked to see what God is going to do in the countries we are going to...which are Ghana, Ivory Coast and Liberia in case you didn't know! So check here regularily to hear about awesome and exciting stories from around the world!
