KIMBERLY OUTREACH!

Sports Ministry in action, Kimberly here we come.
It's a trip that is happening very soon, and I am so excited. This coming weekend there will be various teams heading north here in Western Australia. Teams returning from Europe, Indonesia, Africa will be jumping on buses for a two-day journey to communities in a region known as the Kimberly. This will be the first trip of it's kind in recent years, as we look to connect with people young and old, schools, youth centers, families, individuals. All to invest and come along side the first nations people here in Australia. I really am looking forward to being able to share and invest while there.
While there for a week and a half, I will be in a town by the name of Looma. We will be looking to run ground speed and agility training. The Australia game of Australian Rules Football, is quite popular there and I will be looking to train people there. Running faster, turning quicker, acceleration, jumping higher, all the results we are hoping to see. At the same time sports is a great medium to connect with people from all over the world. Up north is no exception, as the aboriginal people of Australia are known as great athletes, particularly in Australian Rules Football.
With our busses and camping gear all ready to go, our bags getting packed, clothes washed, and briefings starting, we feel like we are ready to go. The adventure, the excitement, the unknown is not frightening, but exciting as we are ready to head out on a sweet, sweet, adventure!
I will be back in a week and a half, while the rest of the teams remain for three and a half weeks. Until then, be blessed and look for some adventure of our own!
