I WAS RUINED FOR THE ORDINARY...

On my DTS, I began to live.
People are being called from every continent to come do DTS this July. They know (and even expect) that their lives will change, but they don't know how much just yet. 8 years ago at this time, I was in the preparation process for my own DTS. I didn't know what to expect but I was full of anticipation. I knew I was ready for my life to change.
And change it did. God blew me away with His love and His presence like I had never known (or even been told) before. My eyes began to be opened to a new realm of possibilities and what life is really all about! I finally found forgiveness. It was the beginning of a restoration in my life. I knew God before. I had a relationship with Him. But it was only on the surface. On my DTS, I came into the Presence of the Lord. I still remember so vividly one of the most important and releasing days of my life. It was Thursday of week 4...Intercession/Holy Spirit...and I was never the same.
This is my hope and prayer for this next Sports DTS...that doors would be flung wide open and people would really begin to live. God is calling people. God is calling you. He calls to us to COME...so that our soul may live. On my DTS, I found out what living really was. And there is no turning back.
We are all in different stages of our lives and walks with God. But one thing is for sure...there is always more of God to discover and know.
This is a Scripture I got as I was praying for this upcoming school...
"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters...why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare."
- isaiah 55:1-2
