The Sports DTS is underway and kicking it through week three of the lecture phase. Many exciting things have happened in the last few weeks. We have been busy with the registration week BBQ where the whole base chilled at the riverbank playing some sport and having some good food. One Saturday we had a nice warm beach day outing along with the July DTS where we hung out at the beach playing some soccer, ultimate frisbee, and enjoying the good times out in the sun. This week was also our second week of playing in an indoor rebound soccer and indoor vollyball league, and its been a great time competing and learning some new skills as well. Our first two weeks of lectures covered the topics of 'hearing God's voice/quiet times' during week 1 and 'the nature and character of God' on week two. Its exciting to see how God is already beginning to stir our hearts to seek Him and know Him more and more! The way we make decisions and interact with people comes out of what we know and believe about God, so its awesome to see how God is revealing Himself and showing us more of who He is!
