DO YOU HAVE A CALL TO MISSIONS?

God speaks, we obey. So simple but so powerful.

I am challenged these last couple of days as I consider my future, how do I fulfill the call that I believe God has placed upon my life? As I think about the stories of the bible telling of men and women who heard from God and obeyed. There are powerful stories of God speaking, giving direction to ordinary people, who heard and then obeyed. So millions of people escaped from captivity in "the land of the pyramids", Kings changed their mind about wiping out all the Jews in the land, and a whole city crumples to the ground by simply marching around it! Take note all these stories are not far fetched tales, but real stories of real people who heard direction from God and obeyed. They then saw the power of God move through them.

Okay, so all this means that if we believe God has spoken to us, has given direction to us, then obedience on our part allows the same power of God that we read in the Bible, to happen in our own lives today! You see there is a need of a response to the word of God. If God speaks and gives direction, then we need to respond in obedience.

So my question to you today wherever you are this; has God called you to serve him in missions? Has God called you to go deeper in your knowing him and understanding his ways? Do you believe God has plans and purposes for you that you have not been able to do yet?
Obedience to the direction and speaking of God is the only way you will be able to see God move powerfully in your life.
