MINSTRY IN MEXICO CITY

Island Breeze outreach

Island Breeze has just returned from outreach in Mexico City. We were there for 5weeks as part of the Megacities focus in that city. There were 15 of us all together in the team, including Pastor Daniel from Nigeria who joined our team during the 5weeks we were there. He played a vital role in our team praying and interceding for us during every performance we had.

We had two focus for this outreach:
Do open air to publicly proclaim the Gospel and get people saved. We did open airs during the day and taking time to connect with people whom either have never given God a real chance or have never heard of him. We sang, danced and shared our testimonies in everyplace we went to. We saw people receive Jesus into their hearts during the open airs we did...God in his mercy never failed to meet his people where they were at.

Call people to the mission field. Many teams have been sent to Mexico City in the past year. There were already many young people whom have been challenged by those teams to go into the mission field. Many of us in Island Breeze shared stories of listening, obeying, having faith and depending on God. God really used those stories to speak so so many who responded to the mission’s call. We have no doubt we will see many Mexicans go out to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth just like he has taken people from the ends to the earth to tell them....

“You have been a receiving missionaries nation, it is your turn to go give back to the Lord by going and tell others whom do not know Jesus”

We look back at God’s grace and His faithfulness in every aspect of this outreach. We have learnt more how to fight our battles in prayer and more about Him. We are so grateful.....
