To know God and make Him known is the core value of our Discipleship Training School (DTS). Be ruined for the ordinary! This is the gateway course to the international family of YWAM, come join us. Be challenged in your relationship with God, find your purpose in the Great Commission, and embark with us on the adventure!

ABOUT

The Frontline DTS (Frontline Discipleship Training School) will take you to the remote places of our planet. Whether in the inner part of a city, a massive slum, or trekking through a mountain pass while catching site of an isolated village who have never heard the Gospel, we will make sure we get there. This DTS is aimed for the adventurous spirits who love the challenge of sleeping on a floor, good old fashioned physical exertion, and being ready to leave at any time (to a location that you can't yet pronounce). Were you made to help the forgotten, tucked away from the rest of the world?

Adventure is not the goal but rather the means to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

A Discipleship Training School is all about knowing God more and making him known. It’s an opportunity to meet with God in a unique, dynamic and transformational way.

DTS includes a three month lecture phase, and a three month outreach overseas. Each week of the lecture phase, local and international speakers focus on topics such as: the fatherheart of God, forgiveness and repentance, the nature and character of God, missions, hearing God's voice and intercession. It’s all about personal application, not just amassing knowledge. It’s asking the question, "How does this truth affect the way I live my life?"

The DTS includes not only classroom lectures, but regular times of worship and prayer, small group discussion, one-on-one discipleship, hands-on serving on base, weekly outreach in the city... and lots of fun community life! How about a crazy 200 person video scavenger hunt through Perth city or a hike through the Aussie bush at a national park?

During the DTS lecture phase we anticipate students and staff to grow in their passion for God and to enjoy the family community YWAM Perth provides. In addition to the topics covered in the DTS there will also be city-reaching related topics, workshops, written materials and reports that will stretch our hearts and minds? We will learn to understand words like "transformation" and how do you reach a community practically, seeing the Kingdom of God impact society?

Another one of the amazing things about DTS is that you get to be a part of God’s invitation to go into every nation to preach the Good News! (Mark 16:15) You’ll see how God loves the nations of the earth and what is happening in missions worldwide.
