DAVE NOBLET

FROM: Victoria Australia

Originally from Quambatook, Victoria, a mechanic by trade, Dave did his DTS in Goulburn NSW in 1984, and has been with YWAM ever since. He was part of the original team that pioneered the Perth base, and has served in just about every area, from vehicles, to mobile evangelism/discipleship teams, to leading DTS and FCD. Dave is a member of the base leadership team. He is currently working with Impact World Tours in the State Office. Dave has run the school in the past for 3 years, and has taken on leadership again for this year. He is husband to Colleen - who has also run this school for 5 years - and is father to two boys, Matthew and Callum. Dave has a huge heart for the nations and loves to spend time with people, chatting and getting to know them. Dave currently serves in the International Community Development Centre Committee.

MARK HOWLING

FROM: Ontario, Canada

Mark is passionate about people! He has an incredible ability to quietly come alongside someone and show them the love of Jesus.

Here are some random facts about this diesel mechanic/truck driving farmer that has a passion for speed (in the form of fast motorcycles).

The color that suits this Canadian farm boy best is green. He describes himself as being most like a monkey and his favorite vegetable is the potato. His hobbies include riding motorcycles, traveling, and playing sports. He would most like to visit Brazil and he would most like to work & live in Switzerland or Fiji. His dream for the future is to proclaim Jesus name in every nation. His favorite scripture passage is John 3:16 because it really explains how much God loves him and wants him to have everlasting life. His hidden musical talent is playing the radio.

MARK BIRKETT

FROM: Sydney, Australia

Mark B did his DTS in Goulburn in 1990. From there he did an SOFM in 1991 in Canberra and went on outreach to Indonesia. During the outreach he met a not so shy Javanese lady called Ninik. They got married in Indonesia and moved to Sydney. Mark studied Electrical Engineering at university and returned to YWAM in 2006, with a passion to help communities through practical means. He now has two boys, Jonathan age 16, and Joel age 12. They moved to Perth in 2008 where Mark did the FCD. Mark has lived in Indonesia for a total of more than 5 years. He has a heart and desire for Indonesians to take a holistic view to reaching their many unreached peoples.

AMY WASEM

FROM: Virginia, USA

Amy ia a real-live God-loving, gospel-sharing, bible-reading, redeemed and transformed greenie. She has always loved God’s creation which led her to study Environmental Science and Energy at James Madison University.

Amy did her DTS in Perth in October 2003 and came back to do her FCD in July 2004. She staffed the school in 2005 and after spending 6 months in "CCity" with the Mega Cities Community Development team came back for more FCD fun in 2006 and in 2008. Amy is a bundle of enthusiasm and ideas, she loves long walks on the beach and spring water. She longs to see world peace and has a strange affinity with the animal kingdom. She loves God with all her heart and her Swiss husband Stevie.

Amy will be leading the 2010 FCD.

COLLEEN NOBLET

FROM: Australia

Colleen launched out with YWAM in Goulburn, doing her DTS in 1983, then moving over to Perth in 1985. She has been on the go ever since, doing pretty much all there is on base…staffing DTS, pioneering ministries, kitchen, hospitality, general office, high schools in Perth, children’s clubs, King’s Kids, and she’s even been the personal assistant to Peter and Shirley Brownhill.

She did her FCD in 1997 and has been on FCD outreaches to Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, and South Africa. She led the FCD school from 2004 to 2008. She’s married to Dave and they have two boys – Matthew and Callum.
