Going on an adventure that will change your life

Often when I think about DTS and why we run it, I’m reminded of this scripture in Romans:

“How then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom the have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?”

This is why we run DTS’s… this is what having compassion is all about… seeing the need that people have to hear about the love of God. To understand that people are truly lost without the Hope that Jesus brings. But not only to see and understand this but to be willing to stand up and say to God “send me”.
“I don’t know what it’s gonna look like God, I don’t know how You can use me, but I’m willing!” And believe me, God will send you, and use you, and change you in the process.


DTS is a time where you can discover this. Finding out more about who God is, but also discovering how God wants to use you. To dive into God’s character, to let the bible come alive, to learn how to worship Him in spirit and in truth, to ask God the hard questions… to discover hearing His voice! To find out His exciting plans for your life!

And to be used by Him. Outreach means adventure. Adventure as in; not always knowing where to sleep, eating weird food, making new friends in strange countries. But also adventure as in; having to hear from God what to do some days, learning to love and serve your teammates, having to suddenly share a testimony in front of a large group, and in the midst of all that,… learning to trust God.


6 months, discovering God, together with a group of people from all over the world. Going on a crazy adventure together that will change your life.
