A growing time
Last year one of the homeless girls we work with got a place to live. It was just a room with bare walls, so I did a large picture of a kangaroo for her wall.
Over the year we have kept in touch - I was able to pray for her when she felt depressed and other times when she was having problems. A friend has kept me up to date with how she is progressing.
About 5 weeks ago, my friend came up to me, where we go to do art with the homeless as they eat dinner. She had a large grin on her face.
She came to tell me that she is now leading 11 other homeless women in studying the Bible and doing art.
We use our artistic giftings to bring God's truth and love to people, it is a blessing to see Him using it and growing it out through others.
We talked about what she needs and how to make sure she has the materials needed.
It's so great to see a growing out from what God has called us to do, in Art Refuge Praise God!
