ANSWERED PRAYERS

By Narelle

A story from Mexico City

Whilst on Art Reach to Mexico City, we worked with a couple in both a home for abandoned children, and on a street that some taxi drivers will tell you is one of the most dangerous in Mexico City.
Anita and Victor(they gave permission for their names to be used) took us to their home for lunch, and as we ate we discovered that Victor is an artist. He brought amazing paintings out of hiding(behind a shelf) to show us, and shared of his desire one day to have Christian artists in Mexico City work together. Then we also learned that Anita also studied art, but had done none since a traumatic incident in her life. Being an ART REACH team, of course we prayed for them.
We prayed for each of them for release, for healing and more, and put them and their art in God's hands.
Imagine our delight the next week, as we walked into their home again and saw Victor's painting on the wall, and to be shown by Anita the painting she was working on, as part of dedicating their family to God.
The last Sunday we were there, Victor and Anita were among 70 artists who stood to unconditionally dedicate their art to God to use to reach the lost, at a seminar on Art and Missions.
God is on the move in so many ways in Mexico City.
