LIVE EASTER ART

Art Refuge created live art during the Easter March in Northbridge
What a joy to lift God's truth high, through art, during the Easter March, in Northbridge!
Sunday afternoon saw the Art Refuge team painting on two canvases - one attached to a truck, no less, and one flat on a table.
We painted the sun of God's light shining over the city of Perth and the diverse cultures. Then, as the rain stopped after a brief shower, a shining, red cloth fell from the canvas on the truck and onto the brown canvas lying flat - representing Jesus' life giving blood shed for us. Where it touched the canvas, flowers were pressed in to represent the life He brings to our hardened, dry hearts, as green life spread over the canvas.
The final piece represented the truth of God's gift of life given to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and His truth held out to those living in Perth.
(The finished piece will have a new home in a Perth church)
