ROMANO MANTEL
FROM: Switzerland
Romano is the leader of the July 4WD DTS! He is originally from Switzerland, but really he is much more a man of the ocean than the snow! That´s why we call him Swaussie! Part Swiss, part Aussie! Romano is Mr Outdoor Adventure whether that is camping, coastlines, scuba diving, snorkelling... If it has to do with where the water meets the sand then he is all about it - even better if its living life under the water, breathing from an oxygen tank.
Romano did the Young Peoples DTS here in Perth and has been staffing it for the last couple of years. He loves getting to know God more, digging into the word, getting to know God´s character more and sharing his understanding with people. He loves to disciple and train people into knowing God´s ways. Romano is passionate about loving Jesus but also about loving life, having fun and cooking Swiss food for his friends!

QUENTON PEAKE
FROM: Perth, Australia
Quenton is from right here in Perth which means lots of local knowledge when it comes to the best beaches down south! He has been leading the Young Peoples DTS and will be helping out with the running of this first 4WD DTS! Thats him on the left (with Romano) on one of the many trips down south that can now be viewed as `research`!
Quenton loves discipleship and taking teams of young crew to the nations, especially when it involves epic cross-country adventures across places like Mozambique, Nepal or Mongolia. Every day is a potential beach day for him and every weekend´s ´things that need to get done´ have to also fit in around the priority of the great blue. He´s stoked for this opportunity to take the DTS experience `outdoors`- no where better for us to get revelation of who God is. And you can be sure that there will be a ready supply of coffee waiting for the water to boil over the fire...

JASON STEWART
FROM: Florida, USA
Jason's passions in life are Jesus, people & the ocean! He claims Florida as his homeland but grew up in many different places before settling here in YWAM Perth. Jason has an unquenchable desire to push the limits and see people transformed by Christ! Most of his conversations revolve around how to change the world or how to take adventures to the next level. He believes in people and is committed to discover and support what God has for each individuals, whether this be through evangelism or discipleship.
Jason did the Young Peoples DTS in 2009 and then worked in Thailand for a year with ARK International (Children at Risk ministry) before coming and staffing the Surf/Skate DTS 2011. He has also done further training in YWAM Perth through our Children at Risk School and Transformation School. He is loads of fun to hang out with and always ready for an adventure, particularly ones that involve the water! He's pretty handy at stoking a campfire as well.
A motto you will soon be joining him is his charge to "LIVE LIFE!".

GEORGIA GREEN-LEA'UANAE
FROM: Mareeba, Queensland, Australia
Get ready. Georgia is one of our Youth Ministry staff here and is non stop energy and fun. She did the Young Peoples DTS in 2012 and has some great stories to tell from her time in Bangladesh for her outreach. Just ask her about the day she got stuck in the mud! She spent her time between DTS and staff back home packing bananas and living with her huge family! Georgia is an outdoors learner, always ready for adventure and a great lover of the ocean. She has a natural aversion to fruit & vegetables, much prefering the Australian staples of meat pies and vegemite!
Georgia is top quality, incredibly loyal, a no-dramas-lets-do-this-thing kind of girl! Incredibly relational, with a readiness and interest to get to know everybody she meets. Georgia's love for God comes through in her commitment to know and grow in His character, with a real obvious desire and discipline in personal relationship with Him. Her time leading up to the 4WD DTS will be spent speaking in High Schools and at camps with our Youth Ministry, investing in the lives of hundreds of young people and sharing the truth of Jesus with them.
