ABOUT

Do you love off-roading and blazing new trails? Do you thrive on the rough and the rugged? Want to combine your love for adventure with the adventure of knowing God and making him known? Then this DTS is for you! The 4WD Adventure Discipleship Training School uses off-road vehicles equipped to help you tackle the rough terrains as you encounter God and share his love with others.

A Discipleship Training School is an opportunity to meet with God in a unique, dynamic and transformational way. DTS includes a 3 month lecture phase and a 3 month outreach. Each week of the lecture phase, local and international speakers focus on topics such as: the fatherheart of God, forgiveness and repentance, the nature and character of God, missions, hearing God's voice and intercession.

With YWAM training it’s all about personal application, not just amassing knowledge, it’s about how does this truth affect the way I live my life? The DTS includes not only classroom lectures, but regular times of dynamic worship and prayer, small group dialogue, one-on-one discipleship, hands-on serving on base, weekly outreach in the city... and lots of fun community life.
Your 12 lecture phase will include 9 weeks at YWAM Perth and 3 weeks on the move, four wheel driving (4WD) throughout rugged Western Australia. It’ll be three weeks of camping, teaching on the go, meeting with God and soaking up some of the vast beauty of the land.

As for outreach, imagine using your passion for adventure and off-roading for a portion of the outreach to reach rural communities all over Western Australia, sharing the love of Jesus in any way we can. Getting to some of these communities will be half the battle but twice the fun! As YWAM Perth, we have a strong commitment to serving the Indigenous of Western Australia. A 4WD Adventure DTS outreach lets us expand our reach, engaging communities that would otherwise be less accessible.
